Dating from 1998 this smart Tahiti blue 1. 3 Mayfair with white roof was originally exported to the land of the rising sun. As a Japanese spec car, it features something of a monster spec – for a Mini - including automatic transmission, walnut trim, half leatherette and sports checker trim (think Burberry) with cream door cards, air conditioning and a face-off stereo with MD/ CD capability. As is so often the case with JDM spec cars, they tend to have covered lower mileages and this shows just 87, 076 km which equates to just over 54, 000 miles. Since import in 2014, the car has had just three UK owners and has been driven just 5000 miles. In the last owners hands for the past two, the car was bought as a gift for his wife who didn’t use it so it has sat in his collection. The documents with the car include a UK V5 and just one old MOT. The car has a fresh MOT with no advisories till June 2020. It has recently had a new battery, brake pads, a set of Falken tyres, a wax oil treatment and a service.
