We have now taken a deposit on our Charming and desirable ‘Cammy’ Minor Tourer.
Rarely are genuine Vintage Minors offered for sale and we are privileged to offer this delightful and very usable example which has had but owner for the last fifty years.
The car has been quite recently rebuilt by its last owner and the rebuild included extensive work on the engine.
The seats have been reupholstered and the double duck hood and side screens are new.
A new wiring loom has been fitted as well as a new 6 volt battery and four new tyres on refurbished wheels.
The Wolseley derived ohc engine starts instantly and emits the distinctive ‘Cammy’ Minor exhaust note. On the road the Minor has a very lively performance for a small car and reassuringly good steering. The three speed ‘crash’ gearbox is a delight to use and the brakes pull the car up square.
A large history file accompanies the car and includes a buff log book dating from 1969, manuals, parts book and invoices.
The ‘Cammy’ Minor enjoys good support from the Pre War Minor Network and Vintage Minor Register. It would make an excellent introduction to Vintage motoring and being a nickel radiator car has the added bonus of being eligible for VSCC Light Car Section events.
We appreciate that since the Coronovirus pandemic, it may now be difficult to come and view our cars, so we would be happy to offer a walk round video for all our stock, if required.
I am lucky that I live and work in the same place , so I have full access to our vehicles. I will happliy provide an honest description for our cars, and we can still arrange delivery at the moment. I've been in the motor trade for over 30 years, and feel like i'm fully qualified to provide an honest and accurate accessment, plus we only deal in quality vehicles here.
We have also been paranoid about cleanliness here, to the humour of others at times , and every car, key set , door handle, switch, know etc etc is thoroughly wiped.
