1971 Triumph GT6 Mk3, saffron yellow with black upholstery. All correctly numbered as per factory records with original vin tags. A roto-flex model with factory fitted overdrive and 5. 5 J steel road wheels. Full Webasto sunroof, Inertia reel seat belts. Very well-maintained vehicle in great condition inside and out with several modern upgrades including electronic ignition and spin on oil filter.
The engine bay is very clean and the carburettors have been completely overhauled to as new condition. An insulated gearbox tunnel was added last year. Twin stainless steel exhausts give the perfect classic car rumble and cannot help but make you smile.
Recent service and MOT at a reputable triumph specialist. Service included new brake master cylinder, recalibrated speedo all costing shy of £2000.
We purchased the GT6 a few years ago after my wife seeing one at Beaulieu Classic Car weekend and I needed no excuse as I have always wanted one since a teenager. Not being mechanical people, we needed to find one in top condition and after searching for some time we purchased one from a Triumph Specialist.
There is a folder full of old paperwork, log books, etc including old tax discs and MOT certificates.
The GT6 has been on various runs around the Cotswolds with friends and recently attended the Bicester Heritage Weekend.
Always garaged and tended for when required. She is a very clean and honest example. We are only going to sell as we are looking for something older and garage space does not allow me to keep the GT6.
With all the social restrictions etc now, we are more than happy to send you additional photos, videos etc. but as with any vehicle she is sold as seen.
We have placed the sale price roughly in the middle of the current vehicles on the market as we honestly believe that's where she sits. It will be sad to she her go but exciting times ahead!
