2000 Mini Cooper Sport John Cooper Garages S Works 90 BHP. Finished in Tahiti Blue with a white roof and mirrors and a full black leather interior with walnut dash and door capping’s. The car was taken to John Cooper Garages in November 2000 when on 1183 miles and was converted to an S Works Mini Cooper. This brought the power from 62 BHP to 90 BHP. It was a very expensive conversion and cost £2300 twenty years ago. It was then mainly maintained and serviced by John Cooper Garages and after they closed by John Coopers main technician Tony Franks who set up in business and is still running today. It has been serviced 9 times in 34850 miles and I have all of the invoices to support this. As a result it drives wonderfully and sounds fantastic due to the twin upswept stainless steel exhaust. The extra power makes this mini great to drive and the genuine John Cooper Garages cars are now very collectable and a real piece of history. When you open the bonnet the blue cylinder head and square air intake tells you this is an S Works car and also the side decals and numbered plaque inside the car. In 2007 it had a full length electric sunroof fitted costing £822. 00 which adds an additional fun factor to the car. The condition of the car is fantastic and the underside is clean and sound. The paintwork has been professionally detailed and gleams in the sun. It has just been serviced to include 4 new Yokohama A539 tyres as the ones on the car where cracking.
