100 inch V8 3. 9 efi manual Land Rover hybrid.
This is a cool truck built as per the "a 4x4 is born" tv show by Mark Evans.
Based on a Range Rover 3. 9 V8 engine, chassis and running gear with a mixture of series and defender body. It comes with keys, V5 logbook and long MOT until 18/ 8/ 2021. It starts, runs and drives well. Great fun to drive and surprisingly fast and comfortable but does have the usual Land Rover rattles and drafts etc which are part of the charm.
It's generally good solid and mechanically sound and just needs a little minor tlc as with any Land Rover. It passed it's MOT with just a couple of advisories for oil leaks so no surprises there.
The 3. 9 V8 runs well with no nasty noises, smoke or rattles. The gearbox is good and has a recently fitted heavy duty clutch (takes a bit of getting used to) but works well. The chassis is good and solid as is the bulkhead with no work needed.
The interior is fairly sparse but functional as with any Land Rover and the seats are actually very comfortable.
All in all it's a very cool old thing that will turn heads but just needs a little tlc depending on your taste.
