This 1973 MGB Roadster, Tartan Red with Black Leather, has covered just 35, 550 miles from new having covered only 6, 000 miles in the last 20 years. In 1988/ 89 the car had a very expensive freshening which is detailed in its history having only covered 17, 000 miles from new at the time and the MG has only been used sparingly on dry days since, the paintwork and interior are superb throughout, the MG had a recommissioning service in January 2020 and check through at the MG Owners club workshop in Cambridge with full invoice and report of items serviced or replaced totalling £5, 100. 00, which included a new Mohair Hood and fold flat frame and the fitment of electronic ignition and full Stainless Steel Exhaust, new Brake servo, plus replacement of brake callipers and front suspension components and more. This MG drives superbly with fully functioning overdrive in 3rd and 4th, The MG has also been uprated to Twin a Weber Carbs which give a more sportier and responsive feel. The MG sits on immaculate chrome wire wheels shod with Dunlop SP Sport tyres, the Spare wheel and tyre are new and unused, The seat interior was upgraded to Connolly Hide and is immaculate as is the the carpets and boot interior. The MG also comes with a full tonneau cover and twin headrests, interior car cover, Two Sets of Keys, Hand Book and extensive history folder with current MOT and previous MOT certificates back to the late 1980s. This MG drives tight and fresh as you would expect with a low mileage car and is stunning throughout. You could not restore an example to this level for the asking price of this MG.
