First registered in November 1973 in Jersey as J1033. A list of the previous owners and dates of ownership accompanies the car including us briefly in 2008, before selling on to the current owners late father who undertook improvement works to the car back then.
A very good example of the MGB Roadster which is well serviced and well looked after and reasonably priced.
Invoices show recent works included servicing works with a high quality rotor arm, distributor cap and new alternator was fitted. A vehicle check over and light service has been just undertaken pre sale, to include new rear brake cylinders and oil seals. The engine code relates to a correct period replacement Gold seal engine made by BL and the 48G733 code relates to this. There is no paperwork relating to when this was undertaken. Over the car's life it has been well looked after and is driving well.
This MGB has a very good and solid underside and exterior, with no visible signs of sill or floor corrosion which they are quite prone to. The car had a re paint in its original colour Blaze Orange back in 2008 which is still looking well.
The black PVC interior is like the original and as it should be. Carpets are good, a new Mohair hood was fitted in 2008. The fitted dash has a walnut veneer wood finish.
