HERE is a really pretty and rare 1968 MG 1300 2-door in Connaught Green. Mileage reads 36000 and she has an MoT until May, 2021.
These rarely seen versions of the 1300 range are a real fun drive considering they were fitted with the 1275cc twin carb unit, knocking out 65 bhp. She is also extra-rare in as much as she falls into the "crossover" period between the 1100 and 1300. From late 1967 until summer 1968, the 1300 carried on with the horizontal speedo and the design of the seats also date back to the interior of the earlier 1100. The interior changes did not arrive until the 1968 Motor Show, and this is an August 68 car. A very rare example indeed.
