Ford Escort RS1600i, Y Reg, 79000 miles, cracking example with some nice upgrades. We have about 16 old MOTs and a number of Sorn notices backing up the mileage. The car was restored around ten years ago we think and still in cracking condition. We only have the back half of the V5 but will pay for the new document in new owners name. Car will come with a full years MOT
Body - The shell is solid. This was restored a while back and looks to have been done well. Underneath is all body colour with no signs of any rust. The car has been used so would benefit from a clean and detail on the underside but extremely solid with no signs of any patching. Paintwork is lovely with only a few very minor marks
Mechanics - Engine has been upgraded to a 2. 0 ZVH. It still retains the motorsport rocker cover, twin coils etc. Apart from the location of the dipstick its very hard to tell from original. All underside parts are cleaned, painted or powdercoated. Has all the correct 1600i bits on it. Custom stainless exhaust.
Interior - Very tidy with no cracks on the dash. There is a tiny tear on drivers bolster. It is very small but only right to point it out. Base of seats are sagging a little but perfectly useable.
Wheels - 8 spoke speedlines from an RS200 we are told?? with good 15" tyres
