2004 JAGUAR XKR 4. 2 CARBON EDITION
This special vehicle is one of only 50 Jaguar XKR carbon edition convertibles to be produced for the UK market in 2004 , at £71450 they were over £6000 more expensive than a standard 4. 2 xkr and came with a huge factory specification as standard to include: stiffer sports suspension, radar guided adaptive cruise control, sat nav, premium alpine audio system, carbon fibre interior trim, Recaro seats front and rear in either a choice of ivory or warm charcoal, this particular example having ivory. Externally there were 20” BBS split rim alloy wheels and bright red brembo brake calipers.
This particular example has covered 59000 miles and boasts a fantastic service history with 11 stamps in the original service book, the last service being completed less than 200 miles ago. there is also a huge folder full of service history including all the previous mot certificates and lots of maintenance receipts also. It has recently had 4 premium brand tyres aswell as the brakes replaced, this is a fantastic driving car! Other recent highlights include replacement road springs and new lower suspension arms. The last 2 owners were both active Jaguar drivers club members and there is even a copy of the original limited edition launch brochure in the history folder.
It has had a historical insurance claim resulting in a category d marker, this was only a minor repair and does not effect anything on the vehicle, it drives without fault , it does however make it superb value for money as this particular model normal sells for £23k to £25k in this condition and specification.
