Range Rover Classic
This Range Rover was manufactured on the 01/ 08/ 1989, The speedo is showing 38, 500 miles but the car has actually covered around 120k. The speedo was changed back in 2006 when the diesel engine was fitted from a Land Rover Discovery with low mileage.
It has been used very regularly and the previous owner drove here far and wide. It was with the previous owner for just under 20 years.
It runs and drives great and benefits from upgraded “Pro Comp” suspension and heavy duty rear springs (It rides so well in fact, I actually ordered a set of shocks for my personal RRC) A really smooth and comfortable ride.
It has the odd ding and dent, so the body work is not perfect but it is straight. No welding to do on the body or chassis. It is a solid old RR and I know, I have had plenty which haven’t been. This is a really nice useable classic which returns with great MPG thanks to the reliable 300 TDI (2. 5 Diesel)
The headlining has been stapled up as you know they suffer from sagging headlining which this one did. The interior is pretty good but the car mats are shabby. Everything works and had a recent MOT. The next MOT is due Feb 2022.
The tailgate has been replaced for a aluminium one so there is not rust there either.
