Classic hue of Marine blue showing plenty of aged patina sitting on a galvanised chassis and fitted with the Fairey overdrive unit. A good basis for ongoing work as and when required.
Last owner since 2013 and previous notable and regular service work carried out is documented in the history file with work such as replacement clutch and slave cylinder, top end engine work including, serviced cylinder head, redressed valves and seats, skimmed head and new valve seals, new gaskets, replacement front and rear prop shafts, fitted overdrive, new wheel bearings, brake cylinders, rocky mountain door caps, grill and alternator all between 33, 000-44, 000 miles, with current unverified mileage of 60, 600.
Nice addition of Rocky mountain grill and door tops.
Slightly gear lever rattle changing from from 1st to second but all gears engage and overall it drives great with the engine pulling well and an overall compliant comfy drive.
Nice partial service history file with lots of documented service work and old MOT’s dating back to 1996.
