Rover Mini 30 – Warranted 38, 000 miles/ Stunning

The “Mini” is a British icon from the 1960’s with Alec Issigonis space cheating design and legendary road holding the car really did bend the rules and straighten the bends.
The marketing team at Rover could never resist a sales trick and in 1989 launched a limited run of 3, 000 cars (2, 000 in Pearlescent Cherry Red) that had special badging, half leather interior and alloy wheels – the Mini 30.
The ‘30’ had an upmarket feel that, in this example, has been enhanced with a Stage 1 engine upgrade + sports manifold that when married with the cornering ability of all Mini’s results is a highly entertaining drive…and a huge grin!
The last owner, a retired headteacher, purchased the Mini from the Percival Motor Company three years ago and has spent the intervening period enthusiastically making the car one of the nicest Mini’s you could wish to own.
The car has been serviced every year and a replacement performance (RC40) exhaust system, sports coil & electronic ignition, USB point for Sat-Nav, new tyres etc fitted along with some tasteful “bling” consisting of additional gauges and clear lens side lights & indicators.
The large history file includes MOT’s from new until the present day (warranted mileage 38, 000 miles), original drivers handbook, period ‘30’ sales literature and lots of invoices – this car has always been cherished.
