1955 Bristol 405 Fully Restored 2. 5 Litre Triumph engine & gearbox
Chassis number 4076 left the Filton factory on 19th August 1955
VHU 220 was originally owned by Mr Brian Davidson who was a Director of the Bristol Aeroplane Company and manager of BAC's Filton factory during WW2
One of only 308 405's built, body number 405/ 1/ 4176
The car has been completely rebuilt over a 7 yr period including a bare metal respray in "Alice Blue" and re-upholstered in beautiful cream leather with blue piping and royal blue carpets (see photos)
Fitted with a 2. 5 Triumph TR6 TC engine and O/ drive gearbox which produces approx the same power as the original.
Although not the original, it is much more practical (and will not result in 10k + repair bills.
Drives very well with excellent performance
