1988 RANGE ROVER VOGUE SE - LOW MILEAGE EXAMPLE
One of our recent acquisitions is this absolutely stunning low mileage Range Rover Classic Vogue SE.
Having covered only 60k from new and an extremely solid example throughout this was a perfect candidate for a light refresh in our opinion. It had already had replacement A and B posts in the past as well as some repairs to the front inner wings. All of the usual Range Rover rust spots (body mounts, sills, inner aches, boot floor) were all in excellent condition. All the body panels were nice and straight with no alloy corrosion anywhere what soever. Both lower and upper tailgates were also in rust free order. The main problem was that the paint was very very old and flat overall.
We stripped the shell of all its external panels and repainted the bare shell in its period correct satin black. The body panels were then stripped of all handles and trim to ensure a great finish. Once everything was correctly prepared all the external panels were professionally repainted in factory clearwater blue. All the panels we re hung on the shell and the bumpers were blasted and powder coated black, new bumper corners have also been fitted aswell as replacement headlamps.
The alloy wheels were acid dipped and finished in anthracite metallic before having the lips diamond cut along with a full set of fresh Good Year tyres.
The standard teddy bear cloth interior has been replaced with a much more classier tan leather interior that was fully refurbished before fitment. headlining cloth has been removed and fully recovered by a local upholsterer . A modern audio system has also been installed that includes bluetooth, DAB radio and a USB connection.
The vehicle will receive a major service prior to a successful sale which will include replacement of all fluids (oil, brake and power steering) all new belts fitted along with replacement air, oil and fuel filters along with a fresh set of spark plugs. It has also benefitted from a new starter motor, fuel pump, plenum chamber gaskets and had all of the timing reset so it runs lovely!

We have also be given the vehicle a waxoyl rustproofing treatment underneath to protect the chassis and ensure longevity .
