've been asked to sell an elderly family members car for them.
Xsara 1. 4 LX (petrol, manual, air con which works)
It's very low milage, a little under 31, 500, MOT passed 5th Aug with no advisories. The MOT inspector actually asked me to look at the car on the ramp to show me how tidy it is!
In fact, if you check the MOT history, it's exceptional and belies the cars low mileage. It has also been garaged from new, and the elderly family member is the only owner; the V5C shows no previous owners, it is still in their name.
It has a remote key, another key still in the original packaging, 2 handbooks and full Citroen main dealer service history.
I have put a few hundred miles on it and it drives very nicely, but I have no need for the car, and neither does anyone else in the family.
Whilst I appreciate this is maybe not a 'classic' yet, the condition etc lends itself to being a Xsara / Citroen enthusiasts car.
The car has spent it's whole life in Wimbledon, just a few meters from the famous tennis ground. Given it's a London car it has a few very minor scrapes on the back corners from parking etc. These are not noticeable from a few feet away, and a ChipsAway type of person could blend them in easily. There is one small mark on the side of the drivers seat. Other than that the interior is immaculate.
The car is now in Warwick with me so I can sell it for George - the V5C is still in his name.
I would be looking for offers around £1500 - the money will be split between the owners grandchildren and a charity that is important to the family.
