Description
Often referred to as the car the TR7 should have been – the TR8 was designed to accept the Rover V8 engine from the outset. Some say that the TR8 arrived too late and was only in production for less than two years and nearly all were left-hand drive examples for the US market. Very few UK market TR8's exist but such was the success of the recipe that many more have since been created on an aftermarket basis and are generally the best bet for UK buyers especially when you consider the specification of this fine example.
Created by a knowledgeable enthusiast, this car must be one of the best available and having covered very few miles since an extensive and expensive restoration it would be difficult to create a similar car at the asking price.
Every aspect of the car has been significantly uprated, from the blue printed hand built V8 to the four wheel disc brakes, this car oozes engineering excellence and inspires confidence in it being capable of fast road use through to mild competition.
Full build data is available both in writing and from the owner.
For sale on behalf of the owner, the car is available for viewing in our dry, well lit showroom by appointment.
