Beautiful 1968 Mustang Coupe that was scheduled for build at the San Jose plant in California on April 15th 1968.
The car was ordered with the 289-2V V8 C code engine and C4 automatic transmission with 2. 79:1 rear axle. The car was optioned with power steering, AM radio and wheel covers. It was delivered locally by Paul Swanson in San Jose California.
Repainted in single stage Silver Blue with new white vinyl top. Paint is not perfect but nice and this car really turns heads.
Rebuilt engine and transmission with under 400 miles since rebuild. New Holley Street Avenger carburettor on 4bbl intake. New power steering pump, hoses, slave cylinder, control valve and water pump.
New PerTronix electronic ignition, PerTronix coil, alternator, battery, fuel pump, voltage regulator, starter motor, starter relay, spark plugs and wires, New hoses and 3 core aluminium radiator.
New front end with new upper and lower control arms, spring perches, springs, tie rods, bearings, sway bar, bushes. New power front disc brakes with dual bowl cylinder.
New dual exhaust, new rear drum brakes, bearings, gas tank and float. New wipers, antenna, mirrors and door locks. New front and rear bumpers and guards, all new front grill and trim. Interior completely redone with under dash mounted great sounding stereo.
The car also features GT fog lights and centre console. American Racing Torque Thrust wheels with new tyres.
The car spent all its life in California and as a result this Mustang is a very solid car with great rust free floor pans. In stock and available to view by appointment.
