1966 Bristol 409.
Purchased by the current owner from Bristol Cars in 1991. The owner can provide receipts for parts and repairs carried out over the last 30 years together with a hand written service record book.
Major repairs carried out under the current ownership:
June 1992 - Automatic transmission rebuilt along with a new torque converter and clutches.
October 1998 - New brake servo.
May 2005 - Full bare metal respray.
July 2007 - Rear axle refurb.
August 2008 - Full engine rebuild. (Since the rebuild, the car has only travelled 15, 000 miles).
March 2011 - Various body repairs to rear arches and A posts carried out by Brabazon.
Some parts have been upgraded to enhance usability:
Electronic ignition
Spin on oil filter
Hi-Torque starter motor
Radial tyres
We believe this is a very original and usable example of the Bristol 409.
