Michelotti designed the Spitfire and it really shows with a lovely flowing shape that still looks fresh today.
This is a MK4 model built 1970-74 only costing £735 and probably the nicest driving version of the Spit.
With only 770 kgs the 1300cc engine is powerful enough and this one has a longer geared back axle and overdrive meaning long distances are easily handled.
She was beautifully restored in 2007 by a specialist to a very high standard including mohair hood, leather interior and has featured in a magazine article.
There is a comprehensive history file bursting with invoices.
On the road, she is great fun with super nimble handling and surprisingly brisk.
