I have owned this vehicle from new in April 1998. It has covered less than 3, 000 miles per year and has an MOT or French Contrôle Technique every year including April 2022. It was registered in England from 1998 until 2009, when I took it to France and registered it there. It was kept in a locked garage and driven for up to 3 months each year. Last October the car was returned to the UK as it was not big enough for my expanding family to use in France. No expense has ever been spared in maintaining it in excellent condition. Full documentation is available. The cylinder head gasket was replaced with an upgraded version. I replaced the soft top with a newer version and it also has a hard top in matching Brooklands Green available as an option. A boot rack ( which I bought but never used) is also included and an extremely useful wind break.
Only 150 VVC 1. 8 Abingdon Editions were produced and very few survive. Upholstery is beige leather with green piping and the paintwork is gleaming Brooklands Green. A very reluctant sale but I no longer need a 2 seater car.
