Now in stock with us at RFH Classics is this 1972 (L) MGB Roadster finished in stunning Flame Red with Black Leather trim. This car has just returned to us after having an extensive restoration which included stripping the shell for a full bare metal respray including the engine bay and boot of the car. They have made a wonderful job of this and the car looks absolutely stunning with the Minilite wheels. When the car was refitted, we took the opportunity to have the interior refurbished also including the upgrade to Leather Classic Reclining Seats, Trim kit, Refurbished Crackle Dashboard and Dash Crash Pad, New Windscreen Surround and Complete Moulded Carpet Set including Boot making the interior as lovely as the exterior.
During the restoration work we had the under bonnet ancillaries powder coated so lifting the bonnet reveals an engine bay as nice as you would want to find. The engine, which is an Ivor Searle replacement, had been converted to run on unleaded fuel and both hot and cold, it has an excellent oil pressure. This car is fitted with a dash mounted Overdrive for 3rd and 4th gear and is fully working. Finally, the roof on this particular car has been upgraded and is now fitted with a Mohair version that is in lovely condition.
Under current guidelines this car is exempt from needing an MOT however prior to leaving us it will have been through for a comprehensive vehicle inspection, independent MOT and the screen price benefits from a 3 Month Warranty. This vehicle is eligible for zero rated historic road tax which all makes for owing a classic like this a very cost effective car. We welcome customers to have an independent inspection carried out for additional peace of mind.
