Description
For sale, my 1965 MGB Roadster in red. The car has the correct 5 bearing engine and 4 speed, 3 synchro gearbox which is very nice to use.
The body and paint are in overall good condition, so is the chrome on the car. It has painted wire wheels also in good condition. The PVC hood is very nice with clear quarter and rear screens and the deluxe folding frame is also in good condition.
The carpets and interior are very nice with original looking leather seats and period transistor radio(not working). There is an excellent Moto-lita steering wheel and all the guages work.
According to the history file the car has had professional restoration (sills) work in the past and looking at invoices for service work the car appears to have been well looked after. There's even a couple of concours score sheets for the car in the 80s.
The car has had recent new rear leaf springs plus water pump and thermostat. I've also had the coolant, brake and clutch fluid flushed and changed, oil and filter and diff oil also changed. The points have been done, the carbs balanced and set up and the car is running nicely, I've also had a compression check done recently and all cylinders are healthy around 150psi. MOT'd until March '23. I'm only selling due to having purchased an MGC.
