For sale is my Landrover s2a lwb 2. 25 diesel pickup.
This has recently undergone a 'body off' renovation.
The bulkhead is solid having had replacement A posts, bottom feet, top corners, vent surrounds and footwells.
The chassis is solid having been nicely welded where necessary, including replacement, front dumb irons, rear cross member and various out riggers.
The engine is strong and starts easily, pulls well with very little smoke.
All the transmissions, axles etc work as they should with no nasty noises.
New battery, new alternator, 5 very good tyres and many other new parts as required during the reassembly. All electrics work as they should.
Resprayed in its original bronze green, with limestone wheels and roof.
Remember it's over 50 years old and still carries some lumps and bumps from its working life. As with all these old landies there's scope for more tinkering or updating by the next owner. Ready for work or play.
Only THREE previous owners, the first two were part of the same farm business. Showing 61k miles, this is unverified but may be correct.
Historic tax class and MOT exempt.
Also comes with a nice reg number for a 109 landrover.
