Something a bit different and boy are we fond of this one. Here is a 1972 BMW E3 2500 finished in Malagarot (burgundy) with rare Black leather, as most cars were vinyl. The car has the 2. 5 6 cylinder engine and a rare manual gearbox.
The engine has had a recent top end rebuild with new head gasket, studs, thermostat, hoses, powder coated cam cover etc. The engine has had a Weber downdraught carburettor conversion and electronic ignition. It retains its original air filter housing. The car also has a stainless exhaust and an electric fan.
The BMW is fitted with E9 CSl BBS wheels with new Maxxis tyres. It has a E9 CSL style front splitter and custom quarter bumpers in matt black. Most of the silver/ chrome has been redone in black.
Recently, new steering arms & ball joints have been fitted as well as rebuilt brake calipers and braided brake hoses. The car was restored around 15 years ago and total the underneath is still totally solid and painted in body colour. There is a small crack in the paint on the bonnet by one of the washer jets but otherwise the car presents very well through and drives fantastically.
This would make a great daily driver or weekend toy and is proudly ULEZ exempt. As with all of our vehicles, we have a digital folder available on request containing more images, walkaround videos, pictures of the underside and scans of the service history. The car can be viewed by appointment at our West London showroom.
