This is a absolute wonderful Pininfarina Coupé with a perfect history from new on, from a famous family in Frankfurt, Germany.
The story:
In August of 1960, Mrs. Mouson and her husband bought a Flaminia Pininfarina Coupé from the Frankfurt general agent of the Lancia brand, Emil Uebel.
Mrs. Mouson was the daughter of the well-known Frankfurt soap and parfume manufacturer Fritz Mouson and could afford a car in this price range.
Original price in 1960: was about 28, 000 D-Mark.
The original cardboard title proves that Mrs. Mouson enjoyed the beautiful coupé for 12 years, in 1972 it was sold to the 2nd owner.
In total, 4 owners are noted in the vehicle registration document, the last one deregistered the vehicle in November 1976. After that, this wonderful design by the designer Battista "Pinin" Farina fell into a long slumber and was only reawakened in 2016.
I found an un-welded rust-free body. The underbody was ice-blasted and found to be in the same healthy condition. The bumpers, trim and seals, which were no longer appealing, were replaced with new parts.
The interior was left in its original condition, except for the headliner, and bears the patinated traces and odeur of the years just the way I like it – original with keys, handbooks, even two pieces of soap !
The technical components were widely renewed: the complex brake system was overhauled, the radiator is new, the exhaust system was completely replaced, the alternator was refurbished, the tyres are new and the wheels are blasted and powder coated.
The drivetrain, clutch and gearbox are working. The 2. 5 litre V6 is running but cylinder no. 6 has not full compression. So the engine needs to be revised to run as it should in this fine coupé, that’s why the price is reduced about € 10. 000,- to € 27. 000,-
