My Brother-in-law purchased this lovely GT from me in 2010. It has been beautifully restored, including having a rebuilt engine fitted, and the quality of the restoration shows through as the B remains in excellent order. It has been used regularly and has been well maintained and cared for.
The bodywork shows no deterioration, the paintwork is smooth and even and the panel fit is superb. The engine bay is nicely detailed and the chromework is clean and smart. The wheels have been refurbished by Lepsons. Inside has been fully recarpeted in recent years and MGOC front seats are fitted. These are very good, giving more support and having head restraints fitted. They are trimmed to match the rears.
Two files of history come with the MGB which include documentation about the restoration, MOT certificates, and details of ongoing maintenance. The MOT runs until September 2023.
A Mountney steering wheel is fitted, along with an immobiliser and a battery cut off. The gearbox has overdrive.
