Last in the line of the proper Land Rovers and presented here in the unusual and stunning Rioja red paintwork, this Discovery 2 has been exceptionally well kept and is a pleasure to experience. The specification and optional extras from the factory combined with the 4. 6 engine refreshed and fitted by us (RPi Engineering) make for a thoroughly enjoyable vehicle.
Never available as a standard option in the UK but an excellent upgrade to the Discovery 2 and one that makes for an effortless drive thanks to the extra torque it produces. Getting up to motorway speeds requires less effort than as standard, and cruising at the speed limit is easy and unstressed. We have thoroughly refreshed the engine with a Piper Torquemax camshaft kit and new bearings and gaskets, and we’ll back it up with a 12-month RPi warranty. To top it off, we have also fitted a remapped ECU from Tornado Systems and a set of Magnecor plug leads.
