Description
Production of the Ford Capri began in November 1968 at Ford's Halewood plant in the UK and in December 1968 also at the Cologne plant in West Germany
Ford Capri was made in 3 model variants namely MK l which was produced in the period 1969 – 1974. MK ll was produced from 1974 – 1978 and MK lll which was produced from 1978 to 1986
The engine variations were numerous but one of the rarer was the variant with Turbo which was a V6 of 2. 8L
In the period 1981 to 1982 - a series of 200 Ford Capri Turbos were produced
