1976 MGB GT in good all-round condition with a very solid underside, running and driving spot on. It’s a really smart looker that starts very easily and runs well, pulling strongly through all the gears and the overdrive is working correctly, it stops very well and is steady at speed with no wandering or vagueness and if you press the “go” pedal hard it’s quick at getting up to the speed limit. We have checked the fluids for correct level and contamination and there's no breathing from the oil cap when running, see the video.
The interior is a delight, really well finished recent new carpets, a very original and unmolested dashboard, all the switches, gauges and clocks are working, has a “period look” modern stereo fitted with phone and MP3 connections, retractable front seat belts fitted, a lovely place to enter and get comfy for some motoring adventures and room for kids, dogs, luggage and picnic hampers in the back.
Both doors, rear hatch and bonnet open, click shut and lock, the windows wind down, the quarter light vents twist, the side lights, head lights and horn, indicators, hazards, dash clocks, wiper, washers, heater fan all work.
The paintwork is very presentable, there are imperfection that will be found on close inspection as with any classic car, both the bumpers are in good order with no crazing or cracking, It has a recent set of matching tyres in very good condition plus full size spare wheel and jack in the boot. It’s completely solid underneath, the sill’s, floor pans, jacking points, chassis legs are solid, these are all shown in the video and pics. There are invoices for a new clutch and flywheel resurface, brakes, bushes, track roads and many more parts all fitted from 2018 onwards.
We have the full logbook, both keys, its HPI clear and the car is TAX and MOT exempt with the DVLA exemption certificate in the folder. We understand the car was bought new by a Staffordshire hotelier and stayed in the same family for 40 years before being sold and recommissioned, we have all the original hand over papers, warranty cards and handbooks from its registration on the 1st May 1976 on a private registration number.

All viewings are exclusively by timed APPOINTMENT ONLY, we do not have a showroom or display area, items may have to be brought from our secure storage to view and advance notice will be required.
