1967 MG C Roadster finished in Black with Black interior featuring Red piped reclining seats, Black carpet set, a Black mohair roof and chrome wire wheels. This tidy car is an original right hand drive example in all around very good ready to go condition.
This C registration MOV 999F has spent a great deal of time with specialists in the last few years both to the benefit of mechanicals and cosmetics. The car has just had a £2k spend at a Fareham based MG specialist in August 2023.
Mechanically the car seems especially strong, starting easily and running smoothly. 123 mappable electronic ignition is a recent upgrade responsible for this aforementioned smooth running and healthy performance. The radiator is an upgraded re-cored unit and a Kenlowe addition electric fan has been fitted to enable stress free driving in modern traffic. The engine is unleaded converted for modern use.
Cosmetically major works were carried out in 2022 to attend to the bodywork and bring it up to a very good all around standard. This include metalwork repairs and paintwork plus additional detailing to give a good gloss all around.
Inside MOVs interior is very smart, the reclining seats very comfortable for a car of this period and no doubt due to a quality retrim. All instrumentation is believed original and functioning well. Carpet is very presentable. The Black mohair roof is excellent and of very good fit with a clear rear screen.
Overall this C is an extremely nice, calm and relaxing car to tour in – well up to speed with modern roads.
