Edsel Corsair, 1959, Top of the line for 59, LHD, Auto, powder blue with white roof and side flashes, Turquoise interior, dash seats and door cards. Front bench seat needs re upholstering as split and worn with age. fitted with a Mercury 6. 4 V8 engine. Two small patches each front foot side need addressing/ welding. Fairly small crack passengers side windscreen, usually done on importation. Changed brake light switch, stiffer front shocks, new starter motor, fuel pump, oil, oil filter, plugs, leads, electronic ignition, alloy radiator with separate transmission cooler and oil cooler, carb has had a minor service, but something still needs fiddling for idle. Very Rare car, especially the Corsair model. this is a 4 door sedan, thats complete, runs and drives. Its a nice easy project and dont get any rarer than these. V5 in my name with a folder of recent bills. still got its original radio and clock, which is Ultra RARE. Had to list under Citation as Edsel Corsair not on the listing when advertising. Patina, d paintwork, drive as is or restore. Brakes stop on a penny. Boot is solid, there was some welding work done by its owner in the states in around 2016. Good van tyres all round. Currently ran it off a jerry can as ready to take tank out to clean, never got round to it. love this thing, cant find storage space, hence the very sad sale. Find another! Would consider a deal with British/ American Bike/ Car 30s, 40s, 50s . PS, NO more offers of swaps for any aweful Vauxhall PAs, that rotted for fun as you will be laughed at and ignored.
