Here we have for sale an extremely attractive Jaguar E-Type in RHD with superb modifications to make a very fun long-distance car. Fast road engine including triple 2? SU carbs, injection cams, port and polished cylinder head (just completed), 4-piston vented front brakes, new steering rack all with less than 200 miles on, full leather interior.
Built on 26th January 1970 this 4. 2 litre open two-seater is finished in its original colours of Dark British Racing Green with Beige leather interior trim and a Beige soft top. A quick release Moto-Lita steering wheel has been added for a bit more luxury and easier egress/ ingress. The car features wider than original chrome centre lock wire wheels and Avon tyres which have only covered a few thousand miles.
Part of our personal collection this car has had a no expense spared and ?proper job only? approach to all the work carried out on it. We have spent over 250 hours working on this car maintaining it and upgrading it. Prior to our ownership, the car was fully restored whereby it sat in a climate controlled showroom as an exhibition piece for a tyre distributor.
The paint has just had full refresh in August 2023 to make it 100% with a further complete wet sand and machine polish detail. Inside the car is in very nice clean condition, the interior a rather sumptuous full-leather affair which was bespoke-trimmed in Germany.
Sold serviced with MOT, Jaguar Heritage Certificate, invoice and paperwork documentation, jack and hammer, wet weather gear.
