First registered January 1986 (C Reg) this really lovely Ford Capri 2. 8 Injection has come to us from a private collector of interesting Ford cars. It has the benefit of being fitted with a Turbo Technics Turbo. Finished in possibly the most unique colour combination for a Capri Injection of Paris Blue over Silver with Grey Recaro Interior. It is fitted with the correct alloys, sitting well on its set of matching Yokohama tyres. It also enjoys a manual sunroof as an option, and has the correct badges, all in very good condition.
Turbo Technics were one of the country’s best known and leading provider of Turbo systems on all cars, especially on fast Fords. The Capri comes with paperwork from Turbo Technics showing rolling road details indicating that the car was producing 215 BHP at the time.
This is backed up even further with the collection of invoices, receipts and bills going back over many years, as well as a host of past MOTs. The MoT History trail going back to 2005 shows just over 1, 000 miles a year on average. The odometer shows 37, 300 miles and although this may well be correct the absence of any earlier MoT data means, with regret, that we cannot warrant the mileage.
The car looks and drives very well and. Be mindful that these cars, especially in this condition, are becoming very rare and sought after.
