This car is without doubt one of the best 150bhp cars around and was completely rebuilt over an 18 month period by specialist restorers Essex County Classics in Essex just before we sold it to the current owner in 2008. Since then, he has carried out many more improvements and additions along with servicing annually by a top TR specialist and has spent a further £16, 000 on the car.
First registered on 22nd March 1972 and finished in Nightwatch Blue Metallic with a Tan leather interior and Tan carpets, Blue Mohair Soft Top & Hood Cover, Burr Walnut Dashboard, Leather Mota Lita Steering Wheel, Pioneer Stereo/ CD Player with USB, its original 2. 5 Litre Fuel injected Engine, 4 Speed Gearbox with Overdrive on 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears, Stainless Steel Sports Exhaust System and the car is sitting on its original but refurbished TR6 Steel Wheels.
The main improvements carried out are: a new propshaft, driveshafts, differential, gearbox/ overdrive rebuild, Koni shock absorber conversion, Lumenition electronic Ignition, new Blue mohair hood,
Revotec electric cooling fan, 5 new Uniroyal tyres (less than 400 miles ago), Stainless Steel performance Exhaust System, a wired in Navman Satellite Navigation unit and much more.
The bodywork is in exceptional condition save a few tiny blemishes and the owner confirms that this car drives better than when new and he said this is based on his experience of owning 4 x TR6's before this one!
The history file contains a huge number of invoices, MOT history and certificates, HPI check and certificate, Drivers Handbook and 3 workshop manuals.
It was last serviced in May 2023 - only 400 miles ago and is MOT'd until March 2025 and upon sale, the car will come with a full PDi inspection and our own 6 Month Warranty.
