The racing Type 935 version of the Type 930 Turbo pioneered the 'slant' or 'flat' nose. Kremer Racing offered a conversion, as did the factory's own Customer Department from 1981, becoming an official option in 1986.
An ultra-rare variant of an already exclusive model, this 'flat-nose' was delivered new in the USA on 11th July 1987 by Valley Motors Inc of Cockeysville, Maryland, who serviced the Porsche up to the end of the 1990s. The car was subsequently registered in the UK (as 'E409 MPV'), as evidenced by the 2011-2012 MoT certificate on file. Finished in Indian Red with black interior, the car has the five-speed manual transmission and has belonged to our vendor since 2011. The car comes with its Porsche wallet and stamped service book; the original Swiss registration document; and photocopies of the purchase invoice; previous US title; US invoices from the 1990s; and other invoices from 2011, 2013, and July 2023 when it was last serviced.
