Description

The MK3 versions of the “1100” or ADO16 were launched in September 1971 and produced until June 1974, long after the launch of the Maxi and Allegro which were intended to replace it. Estate versions of the car were first seen in 1966 - the Austin version badged “Countryman” and Morris “Traveller”.

This car is a 1972 Morris 1300 MK3 Traveller. It’s very rare, possibly the only Morris badged MK3 Traveller left on the road. It was restored over 10 years ago and repainted in a very attractive light blue colour which suits the car well. The condition is vey good in all areas, the interior trim is in smart order with minimal wear, the 1275cc “A” series engine is sweet and pulls well and the body and underside are in excellent solid condition. The paint finish is smart and presentable rather than perfect with the odd minor imperfection close up. We believe the mileage reading of 63, 000 to be correct but can't guarantee due to the car's age.

ADO16 estates are very rare, they are also extremely practical and like their saloon counterparts inexpensive to own and run. This one is more or less unique and offers great value.
