Description
Morris Minor Saloon 1931
Brand History
Morris Motor Company has a long and fascinating history. The marque achieved success thanks to William Richard Morris. He originally started out manufacturing bicycles before turning his attention to the motor industry.
The first Morris motor car was produced in 1913. The Cowley factory, near Oxford, eventually became the heart of the enterprise.
During the 1910s and 1920s, Morris notably produced the Oxford and Cowley models. These models contributed greatly to the company's extraordinary growth.
The Morris Minor was introduced in 1928 and was the marque's first small car. It was developed to compete with the Austin Seven, which had already been producing small cars on assembly lines for several years.

History
This original Morris Minor has a particularly charming story.
The car was brought over from England by three Dutch friends. It had spent many years there, stored away in a barn. A genuine barn find.
They thought it would be fun to purchase a classic car in England that the three of them could work on together. They restored the Morris to good mechanical condition and subsequently enjoyed it for many years.
The Morris Minor is now ready to bring considerable pleasure to its next owner.
Condition
This Morris Minor has remained in its original state. The exterior bodywork has never been modified.
The interior was refurbished once in the past, in a style perfectly suited and faithful to the car's era.
The Morris starts, runs and changes gear perfectly, and all the lights work. A video of the car is also available.
This charming 1931 Morris Minor Saloon is now for sale.
