John Cooper’s prototype 001, imported from the UK in 1999. Chassis number SAXXXNNAMBAD010000. Photos and providence to show John and Mike Cooper with this car, previously thought to be lost/ abandoned at Durban port. Cooper S build plate showing conversion number 001 out of the Cooper garage. Fitted with a multitude of special edition modifications, including a silk headlining and a 5-speed Jack Knight gearbox. This engine has been increased to 1400cc.
