A very clean and tidy Roadster with an overdrive gearbox, wire wheels and an unleaded cylinder head. There is a Motalita wooden steering wheel and a full tonneau.
The last owner had it for over five years and spent a good deal of time and money making it in to an excellent usable classic convertible.
Among the work that he commsisioned was having the cylinder head converted for unleaded petrol, the fitting of new wire wheels and new tyres, a new mohair hood, a new stainless exhaust, new seat belts, new brake calipers, and electronic ignition.
The bodywork is very straight and correct and underside is excellent with little or no rust. The interior is clean and well presented and the boot is now fully carpeted. The car drives beautifully with a smooth engine, very good brakes and a working overdrive.
A lovely, smart Roadster which is in very good condition, but not so pristine as to be too precious to use.
We sold this last year, but the family decided that they didn't need three convertibles, and took a shine to our beautiful Range Rover P38.
