This Primrose Yellow example comes with an exceptional history file dating back to the early 1970s, including nearly every MOT certificate from 1973 to 2006, supporting its mileage of approximately 108, 000. The last owner has made significant investment, including a Getrag five-speed gearbox, new flywheel and clutch, and a top-end engine rebuild in 2007. Remarkably, it has only covered around 10, 000 miles since the last owner purchased the car in 1997.
In 1998, the car underwent a full cosmetic restoration and respray, with photographic documentation. While it now shows a well-earned patina, some cosmetic improvements could elevate its presentation further. The interior appears mostly original, with new carpets fitted in the early 2000s.
The car now needs some TLC again, but is an amazing project car for the new owner.
