Citroën Deux Chevaux: This specimen is a genuine and utterly authentic one-off, restored and preserved in a specialist workshop!
This tin-snail has been in one ownership for the last 17 years! This owner dared the adventure: he bought a Citroën 2CV from the 1950s on a French farm that had slept in a barn for many years. This vehicle, "dans son jus" as the French like to describe it, he brought to Germany and had it prepared by a coachbuilder in a specialist workshop. The result is unique and well worth a look! The original condition was preserved as far as possible and the original look retained. The exterior skin has been treated with Owatrol sealant. The underbody was overhauled and the mechanics checked. The extensive work is photographically documented.
The engine runs unobtrusively. The original type plate in the engine bay is present.
From the years 2010/ 11 there are invoices totaling over €4, 000 in investments.
There are many restored exemplars, but collectables with as much character as this are rare.
The car comes with German vehicle papers. Old French vehicle papers are also included. In 2008 the Citroën was brought over from France.
A viewing is gladly possible by appointment.
