1960 MGA Roadster Race/ Track or hill climb car V5 and currently taxed etc with lots of history. Selling as a competition car without engine/ gearbox for maximum appeal. Can supply engine and/ or gearbox as required. Raced successfully in the UK. Car handles really well, has stiffened and lowered front and soft lowered rear suspension on new 5J X 16 72 spoke wires, and Blockley 5. 50 X 15 race/ road tyres with about 3 hours use on track / and road. Competition pads and discs, every thing re-built or new where needed. Chassis and body is very solid with chassis and floor repairs over the winter of 24. now with alloy floors and gearbox tunnel, battery cover. Has Kirkey seat, electronic tacho and Odyssey battery. 45 litre alloy tank and Facet fuel pump through a Filter King. Rear axle is 4. 55 with new LS unit. Car is tidy with nice patina, has half height screen, full travelling Tonneau and half race tonneau. New drivers side rollover bar with door bar.
By separate negotiation 1650cc race engine, steel crank and rods, light flywheel and Helix clutch, all fully balanced. Big valve race head, brand new from Peter Burgess, or, as factory new, HRG alloy 7 port, all flowed and polished by PB (he said it was the best one he'd ever seen). All carb options twin weber, SU 6 carbs or single Weber 45 available. Full race exhaust system and Serck allow radiator and fan unit.
