1990 H Rover Mini Cooper RSP 1275 cc in flame red with a white roof and bonnet stripes. This rare limited edition Mini Cooper has been subject to a complete refurbishment at great expense. Every area of the car is now in lovely condition and it has many of the very expensive Cooper Car Company extras making it very desirable and attractive. The body was restored to a great standard and has a fantastic paint finish. Being a 31400 mile Mini which has been garaged for most of its life, the body still has its original sills and floors. It has had 2 new front wings, front panel, door skins and rear valance. The engine was removed and carefully checked and the cylinder head refreshed. It has been treated to nice new pair of 1. 25 SU carburettors which add to the old school driving feel and great under bonnet look. The engine area is detailed and the Cooper rocker box finishes it off. It has a Maniflow exhaust system has a 3 branch manifold which looks and sounds great. It has also been treated to twin petrol tanks. It now has 2 new 5. 5 gallon tanks like the 1960’s Cooper S minis. Items like these tanks and new twin carbs are very costly, so rarely seen. The wheels are new genuine Minilite with very exspensive Dunlop Sport R7 tyres which are used on the Goodwood race minis. It has 7. 5 inch Cooper S brakes on the front and drums on the rear. The suspension cones have been replaced and it has hi low adjustable suspension. The rear subframe was renewed and now wax oiled to keep it nice for years to come. The interior has been treated to the very best Cooper Car Company items which costs a fortune and are very high quality. The John Cooper signed Mota Lita steering wheel, door furniture, gauges and matts cost over £1000. It has a new piano black dashboard with matching door capping’s with a John Cooper chrome badge.
