The Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta SWB, launched in 1959, was born to offer Ferrari customers a car capable of excelling both on road and on track. With its shortened wheelbase, Pininfarina-styled coachwork and a 3. 0 L Colombo V12.
Originally delivered in green and white, this 250 GTE 2+2 would remain unused for several years until its revival in 1988 when it was upgraded to a short-wheelbase GT by Italian specialist Mario Allegretti, giving it a second life in the spirit of Maranello's legendary berlinettas.
