The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate confirms that this Austin Healey Sprite Mark 1, Chassis Number AN5-L23969 and Body Number BAE/ 23788 was built as a left-hand-drive, north American-export model, it was finished in Old English White with a Red interior and Black hood. The car was manufactured on 25th September 1959 and dispatched to Austin Healey dealer in Fort Worth, USA on 28th September 1959. Factory-fitted options included a heater, rev counter, windscreen washers, USA specification lights, tonneau cover, whitewall tyres, laminated windscreen, miles-per-hour speedometer, front bumpers, red and white flashers.
