1959 MG A Roadster that is nicely presentable as it is. The car is in bright red with a tan interior, and it has a black convertible top. It is a low ownership car that shows signs of a good quality older restoration. Paint is of very nice quality and it shines with a deep luster. Chrome wire wheels are new. Interior presents well with tight seats, clean carpets and a wooden steering wheel. Mechanics are good working order. Upgrades include 1600 engine (with lead free head) and the desirable 5 speed transmission. Recent work includes electronic ignition, new clutch, overhauled brakes, renewed gauges and stainless steel exhaust. Engine runs with good power and the transmission shifts smoothly. Trunk appears to be solid. Underside is nice – frame is solid and intact. Convertible top is in good condition and the side windows are like new.
