Lister Classics are delighted to offer to market this lovely example of the Lotus Esprit 3 Coupe. Powered by a 2. 2l Type 912 Normally aspirated 4 cylinder motor developing originally 170bhp, this car in it's day offered more than enough performance due to it's light-weight body construction. The final incarnations of the Giugiaro-styled Esprit were announced in April 1986, with minor tweaks to the chassis and suspension, giving this variant a slightly more nimble feel and sharper handling.
This particular example has a massive service history despite having only travelled a shade under 65k miles from new. Provenance is key with one of these, and this one has oodles as you can see in the pictures. Finished in Lotus Yellow with Half Leather & Suede trim, she looks fantastic and has worn her years and mileage very well. An appreciating classic that's usable every day? Yes, we think so. Smiles per miles for less money than a new middle-spec hatchback!
