Powered by a 970S-based A-Series engine, bored to approximately 999cc, with twin SU carburettors
Equipped with a straight-cut, close-ratio Jack Knight gearbox
Competition-focused specification including Cooper S front disc brakes, adjustable suspension with Hi-Lo units and homologated components
Fitted with a Safety Devices roll cage, supporting its period-style rally preparation
Documentation on file records previous Motorsport UK Historic Rally Vehicle Identity Form (HRVIF) papers, formerly classified Category B1
Documentation in the file also suggests the car was campaigned in support of RAF fundraising activities
