A truly magnificent example of a TR6 which we have had the pleasure of previously retailing twice, with the last custodian enjoying it for a full decade during which time we have serviced and maintained it and I can say with honesty it’s one of the nicest driving examples we have had the pleasure of experiencing.
In 1988 the TR was the subject of a body off restoration which included replacement of most panels, the engine was rebuilt to an exacting specification and the car was enjoyed by the then owner on many motoring adventures and featured in numerous magazines and TR books.
Under the stewardship of the last custodian the engine was re-freshed in 2018 to an uprated specification now providing circa 165 bhp – the Body was professionally resprayed in 2021 and having only covered conservative mileage since this is an opportunity to obtain a superbly maintained, high performing TR which presents beautifully and retains much of the highly desirable original features.
It’s a cliché but there really is “too much to list” but all of which is documented in the substantial history file which contains everything from pictures of the 1988 restoration to receipts and invoices for the last 2 decades plus of work.
MOT exempt but current MOT runs to July 2026 (No Advisories) and will be supplied with a New MOT
